Registrations & Season Kickoff
Registrations for the 2025 season started in the usual manner — a little crazy, with a new
process to navigate, and as normal, some players waited until the very last minute to register.
Despite the early-season chaos, the club hit the ground running and delivered an exciting,
successful year on and off the field.
The season has not been without its hurdles. Severe weather warnings, flooded pitches, nets
blowing across the fields, and the bone-chilling cold that left some players struggling to feel
their toes and fingers — it certainly tested everyone involved.
Yet despite the conditions, an amazing cohort of players, from the youngest juniors to the
seasoned seniors, turned up week after week. Their dedication, resilience, and team spirit
shone through every match, proving that nothing could dampen the passion of DPRFC.
Adding to the excitement this year, ABC visited during junior training to speak with the
young players. Among the many great moments, a beautiful comment from Tom was
captured — which you can hear on the ABC site — highlighting the joy and enthusiasm of
our juniors.
Season Highlights
Senior Football
The season kicked off in style with the Pioneer Cup — and the Prem lads brought it home
with an outstanding performance.
Our Ladies Premiers made history, becoming league champions for the first time in
DPRFC history — a massive milestone and a moment the club will never forget.
The Ressies battled hard all year, coping with injuries and stepping up into the Premiers
League when needed, showing real resilience and team spirit.
Our Masters continued flying the DPRFC flag proudly on Friday nights, proving that football
passion never fades, even if the hamstrings occasionally do!
A special mention goes to Coach Kevin Homden, who has coached both his children in the
Premiers League to championship victories — first in 2021 with Lewis, and now again in
2025 with Charlotte. Not many parents can claim that incredible achievement!
Junior Football – Dalyellup Park Rangers FC Juniors
The future of DPRFC shines bright with a thriving junior program, boasting 140 registered
players across 10 teams in 2025, including both boys and girls. From the youngest Under 6s
learning the basics to the skilled Under 16 Girls, every player embodies the club’s spirit of
teamwork, respect, and passion for football.
2025 Junior Teams:
U6, U7, U8, U10, U11 Rangers, U11 Raiders, U12, U13, U15, and U16 Girls.
This season marked the final year of coaching for Mark Bratby, whose dedication and
leadership have made a lasting impact on junior players. Mark was recognised as the Junior
Club Person of the Year for his tireless work on and off the field.
Special recognition goes to London Turner, selected for the School Sport WA Football –
Soccer 12s Team, an outstanding achievement highlighting the talent coming through our
junior ranks.
Thanks also go to the many volunteers — coaches, referees, and line runners — whose time
and enthusiasm make every weekend of junior football possible. Together, they continue to
build a strong, supportive, and fun football community in Dalyellup.
The Annual Seniors vs Juniors Match
The club’s most prestigious and eagerly anticipated match of the season! Always
competitive, always fun, and full of energy.
This year, the Seniors managed to claim the win — but only with help from junior standout
Fletcher King, who scored the match-winning goal.
The match is more than just a game — it celebrates club unity, bridges generations, and
highlights the spirit that makes DPRFC so special.
